Consultation
The Bus Driver Academy provides consultancy services to operators in support of their operational training needs. Utilizing over 30 years of experience within the bus industry, both in Australia and overseas. Our expertise encompasses drivers, operational and management specific knowledge. TBDA provides in depth analysis and assessment of current operations and can provide detailed pathways to projected future outcomes. TBDA not only provides professional feedback but can also support future growth via our knowledge and experience of change management both operator specific and both large and smaller scale within the industry. Consultation and ongoing support is provided by multi-skilled industry specialists with proven histories of best practice solutions and outcomes. Initial consultation is followed up by detailed documentation containing an overview, scope, agreement and operational and cost analysis. Further information regarding solutions, pathways, timelines and proposed outcomes is also included, allowing operators, a documented overview of proposed improvements. TBDA aims to improve your safety, compliance, training, operations, accident rates and driver retention and in turn allow peace of mind, increased operational excellence, driver investment and reduced overheads.

On-line Learning Management System
The Operational Bus Driver Course can be accessed using several options. Either individual, single use or purchase multiple single use courses for your driving team. For ongoing training needs and multi-use courses, a monthly payment option, allows operators to provide their drivers with a made to measure course, which can be utilized for induction, refresher training, post-accident/ incident training, professional growth or annual training purposes.

TBDA provides operators with a bespoke training program for any size operation. Our made to measure programs provide support for documented support from initial driver on boarding all the way through induction and beyond. Providing up to the minute and relevant training structures and content that suit your business, we enable your operation to ensure maximum support and direction from your team. Our structures ensure support, compliance and peace of mind for any operation. Using our experienced personnel to design a long term solution for your team. From theory through to practical and on to applied operational training and assessment, we maximize your team’s performance. Our programs are flexible, easy to use and provide, you, the operator, with full documentation and proof of learning, capability, and competence. After initial free consultation your training program will be designed to meet your teams’ needs and requirements. The Bus Driver Academy provides on going support and can provide ongoing management or third-party support (please see C.A.T Program & Self-maintained and operated program).

C.A.T Program (Compliance, Assessment, Training)
Blended on line and on-site operational bus driver course providing learners with quality and easily accessible training. Full support from fully qualified and industry experienced trainers. Can be used in full or in part, multiple times for induction, refresher, post-accident/ incident training, annual training, personal/ professional growth and general support. Provides completion certificate and full evidence of learning. Includes on-going “on road” assessment and training by experienced industry specialist trainers. Full program that provides postaccident/ incident support. Full suite of administration back up and compliance documents.
Compliance – A full suite of documentation, relevant to your operational needs, that provides evidence of training and competency in Theoretical, Practical and Applied knowledge required by bus drivers. The Bus Driver Academy provides either one-off or ongoing support to operators and drivers, ensuring compliance regarding industry based industrial laws and legislation, relevant road laws and transport legislation. Assessment – Quality, competency-based assessment of knowledge, skill and standard of every driver, by industry best trainer/ assessors. Theoretical, Practical and Applied skill sets assessed in a fair, open and supportive framework, allowing for accurate gauge of training required, standards and realistic solutions.

Self-Maintained & Operated Program
Utilizing either our bespoke or C.A.T programs, The Bus Driver Academy has created an option for operators to self-manage these programs, once build and initialization are complete. A self-managed option allows Operators to create their own content and add specific information and assessment, as required. Both options allow operator’s build upon foundational information, to provide their drivers with operator specific knowledge and training.

Train The Trainer Program
Full training program facilitated by qualified and experienced industry specialists for your operational team or trainers. Quality and relevant know how provided to inspire and engage your team to provide the highest standards. Methods of engaging and embedding knowledge with today’s bus drivers. Generally, a standard two day, “in depth” program that provides practical, theoretical and applied training, knowledge, and final assessment to students.
